Total Savings of: $237.38 in just over 5 weeks of being in Boise !!!!!

Walgreens, Walmart & Fred Meyers

I tried again. This time I went to 3 stores.

1st stop, Walgreen's:
~ 2 12 packs of Cottonelle TP
~ 4 packs of Crayola Washable Markers
~ 2 packs of paper mate highlighters
~ 4 packs of Hair barrettes
~ 1 bottle of Joint pills
~ 2 bottles of Kid's Smart Fish Oil pills
~ 4 bottles of Keri Lotion (FREE)
~ 3 note pads (3 for .99 cents)

Just shopping at 2 stores I only spent: .57 cents !!! All of this would of been $81.57 w/o coupons. I paid: $50.57 w/coupons but received $50 in Walgreen's register rewards.

2nd Store, Fred Meyers:

~ 4 half gallons of milk

Buy 4 for $5 (Use coupon in Fred Meyers Ad) then use 2 .75 cents off Milk coupons & each half gallon is .88 cents. So I paid: $1.76/gallon of milk.

3rd Store, Walmart:

~2 packets of tortilla shells ($1 each, no coupons needed)
Just a good find.

~2 packets of Reach Dental Floss .88 cents ea.

~ 4 packets of Band-Aid 8 packs (travel size) .97 cents ea.

I paid: $1.67 before tax. Used: 2- $1 off 1 reach floss = +.24 cents, 4 - .50 cents off each band-aid brand coupons. all of this would of been: $5.56. Total savings: $3.34.

So here is the break down of what I spent and saved on these trips today:

Without coupons & Deals: $94.46

After register rewards, Coupons & Deals: $8.07

A savings of: $86.39

I MOVED to BOISE !!!!! (Here is my 1st Deal)

I just moved back to Boise 2 weeks ago. I drove my family just under 2,500 miles to be closer to my mom, my family & friends. My mom got really into couponing around the same time I did in 2009. But I have been out of it for over a yr since my medical issues, but I gave it a shot today.

This is what I got:
~ 8 bottels of Head & Shoulders ($2.50 ea)
~ 16 Oral-B toothbrushes (FREE)
~ 8 bottles of Skintament Shave cream
~ 8 Venus disposable razors
~ 8 Mach3 disposable razors
~ 2 Crest Toothpastes (.57 cents ea)

All of this would of been: $230.91. I paid: $79.92 after discounts, coupons, taxes & register rewards (walgreens). Total Savings: $150.99

I made it to BOISE

In June I moved my family back to my hometown of Boise, Idaho. I wanted to be closer to my family & friends. It is a change in surrounding & in the way I have to coupon. No more just going to any store of my chooseing & using 20 coupons under $1 & getting them all doubled. Looking forward to getting the hang of it really soon.

Hello Everyone-

I know it has been FOREVER since I have updated this blog. I am so sorry for leaving you all hanging. I was diagnosed with Cancer in April of 2010 & have been undergoing Chemotherapy. I am actually in my second round of treatment because the first one did not work.

I am feeling pretty good & starting to get back into my "SHOPPING" with coupons. =) Hope everyone is doing well & having a great start to the new year.

I was just sitting here wondering really how much I had saved over the past few months, had it really been worth the work? So I sat down and started adding, to my amazement, I had saved over: $1164 , WOW !!!! All that in just 2 1/2 months, I would say "TOTALLY" worth my time & money.

Now if you minus the money spent on newspapers & coupons bought on EBay.......it would be actually a grand total of: $ 1061 that is still ALOT of money saved for only spending $103 on Newspapers & buying coupons on EBay.

I went out and did some STOCK PILE Shopping 2day at Target, Harris Teeter & Walmart

All of this would of cost me: $ 335.06
I got all of this for: $ 155.96
Savings of: $ 179.06

Buy 1 Oscar Mayer Lunch Meat & 1 select Kraft Singles Cheese

at Target.
I used 6 MF $1 off 1 Oscar Mayer Lunch Meat from this past Sundays Paper
So I look at it as getting the 3 lunch meats & 3 cheese's for $1.79 ea
& still getting the 3 lunch meats free. =)
